Dennis Cowan is the President of Wheelhouse Construction and brings over 20 years of experience in construction management and remodeling. Before joining Wheelhouse Construction, Dennis owned his personal construction business for over 15 years, focusing on apartment building renovations, tenant finish and office space remodeling. He holds a class B license and is a member of NARI, the National Association of Remodeling Industry.
Zvi Rudawsky, CPM® is a Principal at Wheelhouse Construction and is responsible for the financial overview and performance of the company. Zvi works closely with property owners and investors to develop value metrics and insights that drive construction and renovation scope in order to maximize return on investment. Zvi has an extensive background of more than 20 years of experience in real estate operations including property management, asset management, real estate owned (REO) management, appraisal, due diligence, construction management and asset disposition. He holds the designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM), is a licensed real estate broker in Colorado, and previously held a certified residential real estate appraiser license. He also served as President of the Northern Colorado chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) from 2002-2003.
Brian is the VP of Business Development at Wheelhouse Construction and is responsible for obtaining new property construction clients and contracts, as well as helping to expand the market presence of our brand. Prior to joining Wheelhouse Brian was the Executive Vice President of Portus, Inc. where he was responsible for business development for Boutique Apartments, Wheelhouse Apartments and Wheelhouse Construction; he also acted as the General Manager of Shift Workspaces, an executive office and coworking space in central Denver.
Before joining Portus, Inc, Brian was a Research Analyst for a senior housing development consultant, where he performed research, conducted demand analysis, and prepared market studies for senior housing development projects in Colorado. He was also the Regional Manager and Land Development Director for a residential development company in Bend, Oregon, and oversaw land acquisition, development and vertical construction for 13 subdivisions. Brian received his BA from Dickinson College (PA), and a Masters in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver.
Tom Schicktanz – Construction Administrator
Tom Schicktanz is the Construction Administrator for Wheelhouse Construction and serves as the primary office interface between the company and its subcontractors, vendors and partners. Tom is responsible for the day-to-day business operations of the company and is also responsible for managing a wide variety of specialized construction projects.
Before joining Wheelhouse Construction, Tom was the V.P. of facilities for Boutique and Wheelhouse Apartments where he oversaw 45+ apartment buildings with over 1,000 apartments under management. Tom also has over 18 years of experience in the data and software industry with focus on business analysis, project management and control, and portfolio management.
Mike oversees the day-to-day progress of each construction project, including the scheduling, supervision and management of subcontractors. He is also responsible for the scheduling of equipment and supplies, maintaining the budget and meeting construction deadlines.
Mike has experience supervising projects and people, most recently as a Project Superintendent of CLD Construction, where he managed the extensive remodel of high-rise apartment buildings, and supervised crews to complete jobs efficiently, on-time and on-budget, while maintaining a high level of quality and a safe work environment.
Andy Forbes is a highly qualified Master Plumber with over 25 years of experience in the industry. Before becoming the head of Wheelhouse Plumbing, Andy owned and operated his own very successful plumbing company and has many years of experience as a field superintendent and project manager. Born and raised here in Colorado, Andy is the third in line out of six brothers, and has raised two sons. Andy attended Red Rocks Community College and earned a degree in construction management before obtaining his first job in the plumbing industry.
